After a traumatic incident during his stay, a young medicine student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) moves to a rural hospital for a new beginning. Noticing that James fights and has difficulty connecting with patients, Dr. Harrison (actor of Veteran Stage and Michael Potts Scene) suggests that he takes the class focused on the bed and facilitating deer relationships with patients. The Demons of James’ past begin to catch him when he is devoured by the case of a young patient with asthma (Sidney Flanigan, never always always) with mysterious symptoms. His grip on reality begins to slide as his disorders of the nightmare, speculation about anxiety fuel and physical injuries collide with the sharp realities of the world of medicine. Director Alex Thompson brings together a powerful ensemble of veteran actors in his monitoring with Saint Frances and predecessor Ghostlight-in with this humanistic and unconventional genre vision.
